Mistake yet again ?

It is said, "failure is the stepping stone of success". What to define as success is another of such varied questions. Its simply not something that one can always hold, or experience. Its sometimes hidden. Knowing the real nature of an individual at times is success. Being able to win a battle may be success or so also simply being able to be calm can be success.

The days so far have been a mix of success and mistakes. My mom tells me i never learn. At times, i understand why she says so. Its right when it comes to the other kind of people i interact with. Be it simple, normal and non-indulging, be it straight, yet there are times when u feel why do u need to be so kind, so good. What is there in this world that warrants that kind of a feeling. Nothing is the answer. Apart from the one you love and a few who love u, such feelings for others are nothing but mistakes that appear as successes. And hence we come back again to the debate of success. It was nothing but failure to understand and gauge. Times change and so do people. And with people their ideas of success and failure. When you cant change at the same pace, your success becomes history.

Its been lessons well learnt always and so the careful approach. Yet, keeping in mind the time needed to be invested in important things, lets stop career counseling and get back to the basics of B School - selfishness and self centered attitude. It never pays to be so kind it is said. For though in theory, its the best thing, but when practical life is concerned it is just another vice that one has. I may not want to elaborate here for it may be an individual vice and hence i wouldnt want to generalise it. However, in this race, I dont think, I would want to waste time. Its enough of losing on all fronts. I would now look for the material and real success rather than the more inner ones.

Nepal was fun, was all the more beautiful in a different way than expected. It did change my way to look at life. It opened a facet that was absent.

Salute the himalayas for they stand tall amidst all the successes and losses of mankind. Respect them for the years they have behind them and the misery and rise that they would have seen.
Would want to rise as high as them and be away from the worldly drugeries of success and failure. But guess would have to be that old enough.. :P
